Ziaire Williams Cleared to Return Against Heat

The Lakers removed starting wing Ziaire Williams from their injury report ahead of a home game against the Miami Heat on November 2, after he missed three games with left foot soreness.
Williams was set to return for the Lakers’ Monday night matchup with Miami after sitting out three games. He last played on October 27, when he tallied 11 points, four assists and two steals over 29 minutes in a loss to Portland.
Coach JJ Redick said on Sunday that imaging of Williams’ foot had been clear and that the soreness tended to appear in the morning. Redick said Williams was feeling much better, with the team taking care given the back-to-back schedule.
The Lakers beat Toronto on Sunday, the first game of the back-to-back. Williams had started each of the four regular-season games he had played, as well as both preseason games in which he appeared.
He was averaging 11.3 points on 57.1% shooting, including 46.7% from three-point range, along with three rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Forward Adou Thiero, listed with left knee injury management, was the only Laker on the injury report and was ruled out.
