The Toronto Raptors rallied from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 125-118 in Inglewood on November 2. Barnes put up 15 of his 22 points during the closing quarter.

Toronto trailed by 13 entering the fourth quarter, but Barnes helped turn the game around, scoring 15 points in the period. His turnaround jumper with 2:08 remaining gave the Raptors their first lead, during a 12-1 run that put them ahead for good, 125-118.

Immanuel Quickley led Toronto with 27 points, while RJ Barrett added 26. Barnes finished with 15 rebounds and eight assists. The Raptors were playing on consecutive nights, with this being the latter game, and were without Kawhi Leonard, who was sidelined by a left knee injury, and Jakob Poeltl, who had a shoulder injury.

Toronto used Collin Murray-Boyles as a small-ball center in Poeltl’s absence, with Barnes also helping defend the rim. The Raptors had fallen behind by as many as 16 points before finding their rhythm late in the game.

Kobe Sanders scored a career-high 26 points for Los Angeles. The Clippers have lost six straight since beating Sacramento in their season opener on October 21. Gradey Dick, making his first start for the Clippers, recorded 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Both teams were coming off losses on Sunday. Toronto next plays at Denver on Wednesday, while Los Angeles hosts Miami that night.
