Adam Klapka and William Stromgren scored for Calgary, and Dustin Wolf made 26 saves in a 2-1 win over San Jose on November 2.

Calgary’s fourth line supplied both goals in a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on November 2. Goaltender Dustin Wolf stopped 26 shots as the Flames improved their record to 7-8-0. San Jose is now 7-8-1.

Adam Klapka gave Calgary the lead late in the first period, sending a wrist shot past Sharks goalie Yaroslav Askarov with 5:24 remaining. Jonathan Castagna set up the goal.

William Stromgren extended the lead in the third period, scoring at 9:14. Klapka and Castagna assisted on Stromgren’s first goal of the season.

Sam Dickinson cut the deficit to one with 8:03 left, beating Wolf with a wrist shot. Askarov finished with 20 saves, but San Jose could not find an equalizer.

Calgary’s next game is at Seattle on November 4. San Jose visits Los Angeles that night.
