Michael Amadio scored with 3:09 remaining to give Ottawa a 2-1 comeback win over Buffalo in Buffalo on November 4.

Michael Amadio scored with 3:09 left in the third period, lifting the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo on November 4. Ottawa came from behind to secure the victory, ending a run of three losses in its previous four games.

Amadio finished a 3-on-2 break with a wrist shot. Zetterlund and Stutzle earned assists on the decisive goal. Shane Pinto had tied the game for Ottawa at 11:33 of the second period, scoring after Buffalo took the lead in the opening frame.

Peyton Krebs put the Sabres ahead at the 14-minute mark of the first period, scoring his first goal of the season. Tage Thompson and Zach Benson were credited with assists. Buffalo had won three straight games entering the matchup, but the loss stopped that streak.

Samuel Ersson made 24 saves for Ottawa, while Colten Ellis stopped 28 shots for Buffalo. The Senators’ previous game was a 6-3 loss to Anaheim on Sunday.

Ottawa is scheduled to host the Utah Mammoth on Saturday to begin a three-game homestand. Buffalo will host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday, the homestand’s second game.
