White Sox Claim Graham Pauley, Outright Two Players

The Chicago White Sox claimed infielder Graham Pauley from the Miami Marlins and outrighted two players to Triple-A Charlotte on November 2, leaving one opening on their 40-man roster.
The White Sox added Pauley, 26, after claiming him off waivers from Miami on November 2, the deadline for teams to reduce their 40-man rosters. The move followed the team’s decision to outright outfielder Junior Pérez and left-handed pitcher Ky Bush to Triple-A Charlotte. Both cleared waivers and remain in the organization, and Chicago’s roster now has 39 players.
Pauley was selected by San Diego in the 13th round of the 2022 draft and later joined Miami in the trade that sent Tanner Scott to the Marlins. He has played mainly third base, with time at first and second, and has started 94 major-league games at third. Across parts of three big-league seasons, he has a .209 batting average, a .272 on-base percentage and a .364 slugging percentage.
Pérez, 25, hit .171 with three home runs in 22 games for Chicago after arriving from Oakland in May. Strikeouts limited his playing time, and the addition of center fielder Brenton Doyle further crowded his route to a regular role.
Bush made his major-league debut in 2024, then underwent Tommy John surgery in spring 2025. A triceps strain disrupted his recovery, and injuries have kept him from pitching over the past two seasons. The roster moves leave Chicago with one available spot as further changes are expected over the coming month.
