LaMelo Ball scored a season-best 34 points as Minnesota beat Milwaukee 112-100 in Minneapolis on November 2.

Ball led six Minnesota players in double figures as the Timberwolves defeated the Bucks 112-100 in Minneapolis on November 2. Ayo Dosunmu contributed 19 points and a season-high 12 rebounds, while Jaden McDaniels scored 13. Minnesota shot 42.7%, its lowest mark of the season, and posted its lowest point total so far. Its four previous wins had each come by more than 20 points.

Milwaukee’s Tyler Herro led his team with 21 points, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 19. The Bucks shot a season-low 38.4% and fell for the sixth time in seven games. Draft pick Brayden Burries made his first start for Milwaukee, scoring nine points on 4-for-15 shooting.

McDaniels scored six points during an 11-3 Minnesota burst to open the fourth quarter, giving the Timberwolves a 91-79 lead. Ball later hit his sixth three-pointer to make it 96-81. He had 24 points by halftime, matching his previous season high, and reached 1,000 career three-pointers in his 311th game, the quickest in NBA history. Ball had been considered uncertain to play because of a contusion to his right wrist. Minnesota also played without Terrence Shannon Jr., who had a left hip contusion, and Anthony Edwards, recovering from knee surgery. Milwaukee visits Boston and Minnesota travels to Houston on November 4.
