The Chicago Bulls lost 126-107 to the Philadelphia 76ers in Philadelphia on November 2, after keeping the game within reach for about three quarters. Caleb Wilson scored 24 points, while Matas Buzelis struggled with turnovers and fouls.

Chicago stayed competitive for much of its game against Philadelphia, but the 76ers pulled away for a 126-107 win. The Bulls had entered the matchup after a difficult outing against Boston, and the loss left them with a mix of promising performances and areas to address as they build and develop their roster.

Caleb Wilson led Chicago with 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. He made nine of 17 shots, including four of nine from three-point range. Wilson has hit 10 three-pointers over his past two games, and his passing also showed progress in his sixth career game.

Josh Giddey recorded 13 points and 10 assists, with five assists coming in the first quarter. His drives into the paint helped get the Bulls off to a strong start, though his scoring remained a concern. Jalen Smith added 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Philadelphia shot 52.7% from the field and attempted 27 free throws, making 19.

Norman Powell scored 18 points but made only five of 13 field-goal attempts. Matas Buzelis finished with four points and three rebounds, committing five turnovers and four fouls. Coach Tiago Splitter said Buzelis needs to avoid forcing plays into crowded areas and find better opportunities within the offense.

Noa Essengue had eight points and six rebounds in 14 minutes but was called for five fouls. Isaac Okoro scored four points. The Bulls’ center rotation could also change with Nic Claxton’s return looming, while Smith has continued to make a case for a significant role despite the team’s 1-6 start.
