Caruso Returns as Thunder Prepare to Face Cavaliers

Oklahoma City will have Alex Caruso available for its November 4 rematch with Cleveland at Paycom Center, while Jaylin Williams is questionable with back spasms.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will have guard Alex Caruso back in the lineup for their November 4 home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Caruso, who had been sidelined by an ankle sprain suffered against Phoenix, is no longer on Oklahoma City’s injury report.
His return comes as the Thunder continue to manage several absences. Chet Holmgren, Thomas Sorber, Nikola Topic, Cason Wallace and Jalen Williams are listed out. Jaylin Williams is questionable because of lower-back spasms.
Oklahoma City recently beat Cleveland on the road, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 43 points. The Thunder had also recorded consecutive blowout wins over Dallas and Houston. The rematch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Central at Paycom Center.
Cleveland’s injury list includes Jaylon Tyson, out with a right ankle sprain, and Peyton Watson, ruled out with right hamstring tightness and soreness. Nae’Qwan Tomlin is out with a lower-back stress reaction. Khalifa Diop and Ernest Udeh Jr. are listed out while assigned to the G League. Caruso had made half of his three-point attempts before his injury, and his return adds a defensive contributor as Oklahoma City remains without several key players.
