Florida State’s leading receiver, Duce Robinson, will undergo season-ending knee surgery after being injured against Clemson. The decision was announced in Tallahassee on November 3.

Robinson left Florida State’s 36-24 loss to Clemson after injuring his knee in the second quarter. He was examined by trainers and did not return, though he stayed on the sideline. On November 3, the team’s leading receiver was set to have surgery that will end his season; he suffered a torn ACL, as has been stated.

The senior finishes the season with 24 catches for 438 yards and four touchdowns. In 2025, he recorded 56 receptions for 1,081 yards and six scores, earning first-team All-ACC recognition. Robinson returned to Florida State after that 1,000-yard season, but the Seminoles are 3-5 and have lost three straight.

Florida State will also be without two backs Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr. Kromah is out for the season, while Singleton is sidelined indefinitely. The injuries leave the Seminoles without three leading offensive playmakers as they prepare to visit Boston College on Saturday. Robinson could return to Florida State in 2027 for a fifth and final season of eligibility; a recovery would also shape his options for pursuing the NFL.
