Baylor Rises in Rankings After Win at UCF
Published November 3, 2026: Baylor moved up in two national FBS rankings after beating UCF 41-9, improving its outlook before Saturday’s homecoming game against Iowa State in Waco.
Baylor is 5-3 overall and 3-2 in Big 12 play after a 41-9 win at UCF, Joe Klanderman’s first game as interim head coach. The victory lifted the Bears in full FBS rankings, though neither the AP Top 25 nor the coaches poll gave them votes. One more win would make Baylor bowl-eligible.
