The New York Islanders unveiled their Hometown Remix uniforms for the 2026-27 season on November 3. The team will debut them at UBS Arena on November 5 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The New York Islanders’ new uniforms bring back a revised version of the Fisherman logo, a design associated with the team’s mid-1990s look. The club plans to wear the Hometown Remix set 11 times during the 2026-27 season, beginning at home against the Carolina Hurricanes on November 5.

The design, called “The Fabric of Long Island,” places the updated Fisherman emblem on the jersey front and the Islanders’ Lighthouse logo on the shoulders. Teal, orange and navy wave-like stripes run along the sleeves, drawing on the Atlantic Ocean. The uniforms also use distinctive names and numbers.

Ten of the 11 scheduled appearances will be at UBS Arena. The sole road appearance is set for April 1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Fisherman logo drew significant backlash during its original run, after which the Islanders returned to their traditional crest. The logo later appeared for one game during the NHL’s Reverse Retro series in the 2022-23 season.

The team is offering ticket plans that include a Hometown Remix jersey, as well as a sweepstakes for fans to win one. The Islanders have also announced that a separate fan-designed Navy Lighthouse uniform will be worn in selected games during the 2027-28 season; its creator is expected to attend its debut.
