Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson and utility player Mauricio Dubón won National League Gold Gloves for the 2026 season, announced on November 1.

The Atlanta Braves had two players recognized as top defenders in the National League when the 2026 Gold Glove winners were announced on November 1. First baseman Matt Olson and utility player Mauricio Dubón each received the award at their position.

Olson earned his fourth career Gold Glove and his second in a row. He played all 162 games and led major league first basemen with 12 Outs Above Average and a fielding run value of 12. His 11 Defensive Runs Saved ranked second at the position, behind San Diego’s Ty France.

Dubón claimed his third Gold Glove, and his first in the National League. He started 75 games in left field and 51 at shortstop, along with appearances in center field, at third base and at second. His previous two awards came while playing for Houston in the American League. He is the first Braves player to win the utility award, a category introduced in 2022.

Atlanta’s other finalists, Chris Sale, who pitches, and Michael Harris II, who plays center field, did not win. New York Mets pitcher Nolan McLean beat Sale, while Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong took the center-field award. The Braves last had two Gold Glove winners in the same season in 2022, when Max Fried and Dansby Swanson won.

The awards combine votes from managers and coaches, which account for 75% of the result, with the remaining 25% determined by the SABR Defensive Index. Coaches and managers cannot vote for players on their own teams.
