League Rescinds Doncic Technical After Lakers’ Win Over Heat

The NBA overturned Luka Doncic’s technical foul after the Lakers beat Miami 138-117 on Monday. The decision leaves him with one technical this season.
On November 3, the league’s review had erased a technical foul called on Luka Doncic late in the second quarter of the Lakers’ 138-117 victory over the Heat. Doncic now has one technical this season.
Doncic finished with 42 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds. It was his fourth 40-point performance in five games. He leads the league with averages of 38.3 points, eight rebounds and 8.1 assists. The Lakers are 6-2 and fourth in the Western Conference.
After the game, Doncic left his news conference when a reporter asked about the technical. He had just indicated he was willing to take more questions, then stood and walked out as reporters laughed. Miami’s Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, with 12 rebounds and seven assists, and praised Doncic as an all-time great scorer and an elite passer.
