Kansas Among Finalists for Five-Star Forward Malachi Jordan

Kansas is one of three finalists for 2027 small forward Malachi Jordan, a Florida high school prospect, as of November 2, 2026.
Kansas has reached the final three in the recruitment of Malachi Jordan, a highly ranked small forward in the 2027 class. Vanderbilt and St. John’s are also finalists for the Prolific Prep player, who is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jordan visited Kansas on September 11, Vanderbilt on September 19 and St. John’s on October 23.
Jordan is listed at 6 feet 7 inches and 225 pounds. The 247Sports Composite places him 20th nationally and sixth among small forwards in his class. ESPN ranks him 21st overall, while On3 has him at No. 19; both list him as a four-star recruit.
A scouting assessment published in August described Jordan as an unusually athletic prospect with a strong build, long reach and the ability to finish forcefully near the basket. It also noted that his efficiency can suffer when he tries to force plays, while pointing to his capacity to shoot in rhythm, drive directly and pass.
Kansas has not yet secured a commitment from a 2027 recruit. A November signing window for Division I basketball runs from November 11 to November 18, when high school players in the class can begin signing with their future schools.
