CFP Rankings Will Test BYU’s Playoff Standing
The first College Football Playoff rankings, due out on November 3, will show how the committee views BYU’s playoff chances and its Big 12 competition.
The College Football Playoff committee is scheduled to release its first rankings of the season at 5 p.m. Mountain time on November 3. BYU is expected to appear in the top 25 for the fifth time in seven seasons, and its placement relative to Notre Dame will be an early measure of how the committee values the Cougars’ résumé.
