Quarterback Trade Options Emerge Ahead of NFL Deadline

On November 3, injuries and depth-chart changes put several NFL quarterbacks in focus as potential trade options before the November 10 deadline.
The Ravens may need help at quarterback after Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley were hurt in Week 8, leaving rookie Joe Fagnano to play despite being banged up himself. Jackson is headed to injured reserve, while Huntley’s availability remains uncertain. The Vikings could also consider options if Kyler Murray’s hamstring tightness sidelines him; Minnesota is 6–1 and has Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer on its roster.
Among the possible trade candidates are backups Spencer Rattler of the Saints, Mason Rudolph of the Steelers and Tyson Bagent of the Bears. Rudolph has a 9-9-1 record as a starter, while Bagent has completed 65.6% of his passes this season in relief appearances. The Bears value Bagent, and his experience with Baltimore offensive coordinator Declan Doyle could make him a fit for the injury-hit Ravens.
Colts backups Anthony Richardson Sr. and Daniel Jones are also presented as possibilities, though Indianapolis could be reluctant to move either. Richardson sought a trade in the offseason and is due to become a free agent after this season. Jones was benched during a loss to Jacksonville but remains the Colts’ starter. Arizona’s Jacoby Brissett has fallen to third on the Cardinals’ depth chart, while Cincinnati’s Joe Flacco could attract interest from teams needing a starter. Mac Jones is another, less likely option: San Francisco has indicated it would need a strong return to trade him. The deadline is November 10.
