Dolphins Mailbag Weighs Rookie Progress and Team Needs
On November 3, a Miami Dolphins mailbag addressed special-teams coverage, the offense, rookie development and the team’s future draft needs after its loss to New England.
The Dolphins’ latest mailbag covered questions about the team’s struggles and its young players following the loss to the Patriots. On kickoffs, the response weighed the safety of touchbacks against the chance to pin opponents deeper in their own territory. Touchbacks avoid the risk of a long return, but also leave Miami’s coverage unit with fewer opportunities to work on the play.
