Caitlin Clark Picks Travis Kelce as Her Favorite Chief

Clark discussed her Chiefs fandom on a bonus episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast, released on November 3. Asked whether Travis Kelce was her top Chiefs player, Clark said he was, while also recalling that she had admired former tight end Tony Gonzalez growing up. She placed quarterback Patrick Mahomes just behind Kelce in her ranking.

Clark grew up near Des Moines, Iowa, supporting Kansas City with her family. She has also previously named Kelce among her favorite Chiefs during an appearance on his podcast.

Kelce began his 14th season as the franchise’s career leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, with 1,080 catches, 13,002 yards and 82 touchdowns. He has won three Super Bowls alongside Mahomes. Gonzalez has earned a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Mahomes has won three Super Bowls and three Super Bowl MVP awards.

Clark said she expected Kelce and Mahomes to claim a fourth championship in 2027, praising the team’s recovery after a difficult previous season marked by injuries. Kansas City had opened the season with five wins, but then lost two in a row, to Seattle and Denver. The defeat in Denver left Kansas City trailing in its division; the Broncos led the AFC West at 6-2.
