Four Rangers Prospects Selected for Fall Stars Game

On November 4, four Texas Rangers prospects and pitching coach Mason Milkey were chosen for the Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars Game as members of the Surprise Saguaros.
The Texas Rangers will have four prospects and one coach at the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game. The selections come after Texas finished the 2026 season at 80-82 and missed the playoffs for a third straight year since winning the 2023 World Series title.
Infielder Sebastian Walcott, the Rangers’ top-ranked prospect, has hit .316 in the fall league, with one home run, 20 runs batted in, six doubles and an .843 OPS. MLB.com projects that he could reach the majors in 2027, likely beginning the season at Triple-A.
Outfielder Paxton Kling, ranked 20th among the organization’s prospects, earned his spot after batting .364 in 14 games. He has 12 RBIs and 12 walks, alongside 12 strikeouts. Kling finished 2026 at Double-A and is expected to start there again in 2027; MLB.com forecasts a possible major-league debut in 2028.
Right-hander Alejandro Chiquillo is the group’s sole pitcher. He moved from rookie ball to Single-A late in 2026. Catcher Julian Brock, 25, has hit .211 in the fall league, drawing 14 walks against 13 strikeouts, scoring 10 runs and driving in five. He reached Triple-A in 2026, where he batted .197 in 61 at-bats.
Mason Milkey will join the players as their pitching coach. He has completed four seasons with the Rangers organization and served as pitching coach for the Rangers’ Arizona Complex League affiliate in 2025.
