The Baltimore Ravens brought in Kedon Slovis from Green Bay’s practice squad on November 3, ahead of their November 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Injuries have left the team uncertain who will start at quarterback.

Baltimore added Slovis to its 53-man roster with its top quarterbacks sidelined or hurt. Starter Lamar Jackson injured his right thumb in Sunday’s 36-10 loss to Buffalo and is headed to injured reserve. Backup Tyler Huntley hurt his toe in the same game and may miss practice this week.

Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is the expected starter against Jacksonville, but he injured his ankle against Buffalo. Coach Jesse Minter said November 2 that Fagnano had a chance to play Thursday. In his NFL debut, Fagnano completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards and an interception.

The Ravens also reunited with Austin Reed, signing him to the practice squad on November 2. Reed played in Baltimore’s three preseason games but has yet to attempt a pass during the regular season. Slovis, who joined the NFL as an undrafted player in 2024, has made two career pass attempts. He previously worked with Baltimore quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork in Arizona.

If Fagnano cannot play, Reed or Slovis could be called on. Baltimore may have three quarterbacks available Thursday as protection for Fagnano’s ankle. The team could still add another quarterback, and a trade remains possible before the November 10 deadline.

Players: Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley, Kedon Slovis, Joe Fagnano
