On November 4, Alabama highlighted cross-country standouts Rodgers Plimo and Caren Kiplagat, along with NFL players Quinnen Williams and Que Robinson, after performances last week.

On November 4, Alabama’s weekly Crimson Tide athlete selections featured two runners from its SEC champion cross-country teams and two former defensive linemen now in the NFL. The men repeated as conference champions in Columbia, Missouri, while the women captured their first SEC title since 2024.

Freshman Rodgers Plimo placed third in the men’s 8K, behind Alabama teammate Dismus Lokira, who finished second. Caren Kiplagat won the women’s 8K in 18:46.5, earning her fourth victory in as many appearances this season. Five Alabama women finished among the race’s top 18.

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams was recognized after appearing in two games within seven days. He made four tackles and recorded a sack in a 38-21 win over Philadelphia, then posted a season-high two sacks in a loss to Arizona. Through eight games, he had 29 tackles, five sacks and a forced fumble.

Denver Broncos defender Que Robinson earned the clutch honor for a late goal-line stop against Kansas City. With the Chiefs at the three-yard line, Robinson kept Patrick Mahomes from reaching the corner and forced him out of bounds, helping preserve Denver’s division win. Robinson, a second-year player drafted in the fourth round, had also recorded a playoff sack in January and gained a larger role during the 2026 season’s first half.
