Stafford Expected to Play as Garrett’s Return Remains Uncertain

Matthew Stafford is expected to be available for the Rams’ game against the Washington Commanders on November 8, while Myles Garrett’s return remains uncertain as of November 4.
Matthew Stafford is expected to play when the Los Angeles Rams face the Washington Commanders on Sunday, November 8. The update follows concern after the quarterback was spotted exiting the team’s changing area while icing his right arm, following the Rams’ win over the Chargers the previous weekend.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport said on November 4 that he had heard nothing to suggest Stafford would miss the game. Stafford has played in every game this season.
Myles Garrett’s status is less clear. The defensive star has been out since Week 1 and is due to return to practice this week after a knee issue delayed his comeback. Rapoport said Garrett had not felt ready to play the previous week, and that the priority was to avoid rushing him.
Garrett’s availability will depend on how he responds once he is back on the field. Rapoport said a return could come quickly after practice begins, but the coming week is only a possibility for now. If Garrett does not play Sunday, he is still expected to return soon.
