Garrett Wilson Enters Concussion Protocol Ahead of Chiefs Game

Jets receiver Garrett Wilson entered concussion protocol on November 4 after experiencing post-concussion symptoms, putting his availability for Sunday’s game against Kansas City in doubt.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson was placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol on November 4 after experiencing post-concussion symptoms. Coach Aaron Glenn described Wilson as day-to-day, leaving his status uncertain for the Jets’ Sunday matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Wilson’s participation in practice later this week could help clarify whether he can play. He had six catches for 83 yards in the Jets’ 38-33 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Adonai Mitchell and rookie Omar Cooper Jr. could see more opportunities if Wilson is unavailable. Mitchell returned from injury and led the Jets against Las Vegas with seven receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. Cooper has also shown promise during his rookie season.
New York signed wideout Joseph Manjack IV onto its developmental roster. Ball carrier Breece Hall also appears likely to return this week, though the team’s update did not establish Wilson’s availability for the Chiefs game.
Players: Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper Jr.
