Micah Parsons Returns to Packers Practice

On November 4, Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons took part in individual drills for the first time this season. He will miss Sunday’s game against New England as the team works toward a possible return later this month.
On November 4, Parsons practiced for the first time since missing the opening eight games of the season. The Green Bay Packers limited him to individual work, including pass-rush and run-defense drills. He also helped simulate an offensive player for teammates’ practice repetitions. Coach Matt LaFleur said Parsons’ return to the field was a boost for the team.
Parsons is unavailable for Sunday’s matchup with the New England Patriots. The Packers may increase his workload to team drills next week, with a potential first appearance of the season against the Los Angeles Rams on November 25. Green Bay is 5-3 without him and ranks 12th in sack percentage, with 11 players recording at least one sack.
Running back Chris Brooks also returned to practice after being designated to come back from an ankle injury. He had missed at least four games. Linebacker Zaire Franklin, center Sean Rhyan, guard Travis Glover and tight end Josh Whyle did not practice. Franklin is dealing with a shin injury, Rhyan with a high-ankle sprain, Glover with a knee injury and Whyle with a concussion.
